This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on this website operated by Sada Shiv Sahay Foundation. We want you to be completely happy with your order. If something is not right, please read the terms below to understand your options for returns, replacements, cancellations and refunds.

1. Return Eligibility
You may request a return within 7 days of delivery. To be eligible, the item must meet all of the following conditions:
- The book is unused, unread and undamaged.
- It is in its original condition with all packaging, tags and inserts intact.
- You provide the order ID and payment ID used at the time of purchase.
We accept returns primarily for items that are damaged in transit, defective (e.g. misprint, missing pages), or incorrect (a different title from what you ordered). For damaged, defective or wrong items, we strongly recommend sharing a clear unboxing photo or video to help us resolve your request quickly.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following are not eligible for return or refund:
- Items requested for return after the 7-day window.
- Books damaged due to misuse, mishandling or improper storage after delivery.
- Items returned without original packaging or in a used/read condition.
- Any free gifts, prasad or promotional items included with an order.
- Digital or downloadable content, once accessed or downloaded.
3. How to Request a Return or Replacement
Requesting a return is simple:
- Email us at ushachouhan6600@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order ID, payment ID and the reason for return.
- Attach photos/video for damaged, defective or incorrect items.
- Our team will review your request (usually within 1β2 business days) and share the next steps, including return pickup or shipping instructions.
4. Replacements
For approved damaged, defective or wrong-item cases, we will ship a free replacement of the same title at no extra cost. Replacement orders are dispatched within 1β2 business days of approval and, like all orders, are typically delivered within 5β7 business days. If a replacement is unavailable, we will issue a full refund instead.
5. Refunds
- Once your returned item is received and inspected β or your damaged/wrong item claim is approved β we will notify you of the refund decision.
- Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method via Razorpay (UPI, card, net banking or wallet).
- Refunds are typically credited within 5β7 business days of approval. The exact time to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
- Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable, except where the return is due to our error (damaged, defective or wrong item), in which case the full amount is refunded.
6. Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order free of charge at any time before it is dispatched by contacting us at ushachouhan6600@gmail.com. For prepaid orders cancelled before dispatch, a 100% refund is initiated to your original payment method. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, but it may be eligible for return under the terms above.
7. Failed or Duplicate Payments
If your payment was deducted but your order was not confirmed, or you were charged more than once, the excess/failed amount is automatically reversed by Razorpay, usually within 5β7 business days. If you do not see the reversal, email us at ushachouhan6600@gmail.com with your payment reference and we will resolve it promptly.
